Community Service

Country Quilters conducts ongoing programs and special projects where members volunteer their time to make charity quilts that benefit the community.

Through the Lullaby Quilts mini-group, the quilts are used by public health nurses on well-baby home visits. Quilts made by members are also donated to disaster relief efforts such as house fires and tornadoes. These quilts are distributed through Willmar Ambulance to families and individuals in need.

In 2015, Country Quilters made and donated more than fifty quilts for area soldiers and veterans in a show of community appreciation through the Quilts of Valor program.

Country Quilters Guild as well as its individual members also generously donate money and materials to support these programs and special projects.
